A Faixa Piritosa Ibérica (FPI) é uma das mais importantes províncias metalogenéticas do mundo. O IGME, o LNEG e o JA possuem informações científicas consideráveis sobre dispersas em relatórios, bases de dados e projetos, sem harmonização e sem continuidade espacial. Portanto, o projeto se concentra na criação de uma rede de consulta pública e atualizável que concentre as informações existentes sobre o FPI. Também na harmonização da cartografia geológica em uma escala de 1 / 200.000 em ambos os lados da Faixa e na promoção da atividade e divulgação dos Centros Tecnológicos que constituem os Litotecas com a valorização de alguns importantes recursos científicos e materiais para obter.

La Faja Pirítica Ibérica (FPI) es una de las provincias metalogenéticas más importantes del mundo. Las instituciones socais del proyecto poseen cuantiosa información científica dispersa en informes, bases de datos y proyectos, sin armonizar y sin continuidad espacial. Por ello el proyecto se centra en crear una red de consulta pública y actualizable que concentre la información existente sobre la FPI. También en armonizar la cartografía geológica a escala 1/200.000 a ambos lados de la Raya y en promover la actividad y difusión de los Centros Tecnológicos que constituyen las Litotecas con la puesta en valor de unos importantes recursos científicos y materiales costosos de obtener.

Description (EN):

The Iberian Pyrite Belt (FPI, in Spanish-Portuguese) is one of the most important metallogenetic provinces in the world. The socais institutions of the project have considerable scientific information dispersed in reports, databases and projects, without harmonizing and without spatial continuity. Therefore, the project focuses on creating a public and updatable consultation network that concentrates the existing information about the FPI. Also in harmonizing the geological cartography at a scale of 1 / 200,000 on both sides of the border and in promoting the activity and dissemination of the Technological Centers that constitute the Litotecas with the valorization of important scientific and material resources to obtain.
