Description (EN):

The industrial strategies of the third millennium are increasingly focused on advanced specialisations and refined enabling technologies, including nanotechnology. In the Interreg SLO-ITA programme area, there is a well-established manufacturing tradition that urgently needs to make a qualitative leap forward in order to meet the challenges posed by global society in the new millennium. On the other hand, the same area also includes the most advanced skills in emerging technologies and in particular in the field of nanotechnologies, thanks to a series of excellent research centres. The aim of the project is to connect existing nanotechnology skills to the needs of the industrial world. The project will address the following aspects: - Widespread territorial awareness activities aimed mainly at bridging the gap between science and industry in the field of nanotechnology. - Cross-border standardisation of nanotechnology transfer practices. - Setting up an operational network of laboratories, which will operate as a single entity to provide full support on nanotechnology issues for regional companies, including through a programme of proof of concept experiments.

Le strategie industriali del terzo millennio puntano sempre più verso elevate specializzazioni e raffinate tecnologie abilitanti, tra queste le nanotecnologie. Nell’Area del programma Interreg SLO-ITA esiste una tradizione manifatturiera ben consolidata che ha urgente bisogno di effettuare un salto di qualità, onde affrontare le sfide poste dalla società globale del nuovo millennio. D' altra parte all’interno della stessa area sono presenti le competenze più avanzate nelle tecnologie emergenti ed in particolare nel campo delle nanotecnologie, grazie ad una serie di centri di ricerca di eccellenza. Lo scopo del progetto è quello di mettere in rete le esistenti competenze di nanotecnologie per rispondere ai bisogni del mondo produttivo. Il progetto affronterà i seguenti aspetti: - Attività capillare di divulgazione sul territorio volta principalmente a colmare il distacco tra scienza e attività produttive in ambito nano tecnologico. - Standardizzazione transfrontaliera delle pratiche di trasferimento nanotecnologico. - Creazione di una rete operativa di laboratori, che, operando come un’unica entità, forniranno un completo servizio di supporto su tematiche riguardanti le nanotecnologie rivolto alla imprese regionali anche attraverso un programma di esperimenti proof of concept.

Industrijske strategije tretjega tisočletja se vedno bolj osredotočajo na visoko specializirane vede in sofisticirane tehnologije, med katerimi so tudi nanotehnologije. Na področju Programa Interreg SLO-ITA obstaja dobro uveljavljena proizvodna tradicija, ki nujno potrebuje kakovosten preskok, da bi se soočila z izzivi, ki jih postavlja globalna ustrojitev novega tisočletja. Po drugi strani pa so, zahvaljujoč vrsti odličnih raziskovalnih centrov, na istem območju že prisotne najbolj napredne spretnosti v nastajajočih tehnologijah, zlasti na področju nanotehnologij. Cilj projekta je povezati obstoječe znanje s področja nanotehnologij, da bi zadovoljili potrebe proizvodnega sektorja. Projekt bo obravnaval naslednje vidike: - Komunikacijske dejavnosti usmerjene v premostitev vrzeli med znanostjo in proizvodnimi dejavnostmi na področju nanotehnologij. - Čezmejna standardizacija praks uporabljenih v nanotehnologiji; - Vzpostavitev operativne mreže laboratorijev, ki bo v okviru enotnega subjekta nudila celovito podporo pri prenosu tehnologij regionalnim podjetjem, vključno z eksperimentalnimi dokazili o konceptu.

Expected Results (EN):

Developing a network of research centres and parks with a nano-technological vocation focused on promoting technology transfer. The network, aimed at businesses, will offer access to enabling technologies and contribute to creating a new culture of innovation, through a programme of targeted open events, a consultancy service, and feasibility studies, responding to the needs expressed by individual businesses and stimulating the creation of new products, markets and businesses.

Expected Results (IT):

Sviluppo di una rete di centri di ricerca e parchi a vocazione nano-tecnologica focalizzata alla promozione del trasferimento tecnologico. La rete, rivolta alle imprese, offrirà accesso alle tecnologie abilitanti e contribuirà a creare una nuova cultura dell’ innovazione, tramite un programma di eventi aperti mirati, un servizio di consulenze e di studi di fattibilità, rispondendo delle esigenze manifestate dalle singole imprese e stimolando la creazione di nuovi prodotti, mercati e imprese.

Expected Results (SL):

Razvoj mreže raziskovalnih centrov in nano-tehnoloških parkov osredotočenih na spodbujanje prenosa tehnologij. Mreža, namenjena podjetjem, bo omogočila dostop do ključnih tehnologij in pripomogla k ustanovitvi nove kulture inovativnosti, To bo omogočeno s pomočjo programa ciljnih odprtih dogodkov, storitev svetovanja in študij izvedljivosti, ki bo odgovorilo na potrebe posameznih podjetij in spodbudilo ustvarjanje novih izdelkov, trgov in podjetij.

Expected Outputs (EN):

The main result of the project is to effectively transfer technology from the research centres operating in the Interreg macro-region to the companies operating in the same territory, which in the medium and long term will be able to improve the competitiveness, the level of employment and the economic impact of the local production system. In particular, the project will be considered a success if: (a) In the short term (3 years from inception) there will be a significant increase in joint research projects operating between companies and research centres. (b) In the medium term (5 years) there will be the creation of a new scientific-entrepreneurial culture capable of jointly addressing the technological challenges of the new millennium. In particular, actions involving students and entrepreneurs may stimulate an increase in professional careers linked to technology transfer. (c) In the long term (10 years) there will be an increase in the turnover of the companies involved of a factor 10 times greater than the investment of the Interreg Programme.

Expected Outputs (IT):

Il risultato principale del progetto consiste in una azione efficace di trasferimento tecnologico dai centri di ricerca operanti nella macro-regione Interreg verso le aziende operanti nel medesimo territorio in grado nel medio e lungo periodo di migliorare la competitività, il livello occupazionale e l’impatto economico del sistema produttivo locale. In particolare il progetto verrà considerato un successo se: (a) Nel breve periodo (3 anni dall’inizio) si otterrà un aumento significativo di progetti di ricerca congiunti operanti tra imprese e centri di ricerca. (b) Nel medio periodo (5 anni) si verificherà la creazione di una nuova cultura scientifico-imprenditoriale capace di affrontare congiuntamente le sfide tecnologiche del nuovo millennio. In particolare le azioni che coinvolgeranno studenti ed imprenditori potranno stimolare un incremento delle carriere professionali legate al trasferimento tecnologico. (c) Nel lungo periodo (10 anni) si evidenzierà un aumento del fatturato delle imprese coinvolte di un fattore 10 volte maggiore dell’investimento del Programma Interreg.

Glavni rezultat projekta je učinkovit prenos tehnologij iz raziskovalnih centrov, ki delujejo v Interreg makro-regiji, na podjetja, ki delujejo na istem območju, Tak cilj bi na srednji in dolgi rok omogočil izboljšanje konkurenčnosti, zaposlovanja in ekonomskega učinka na lokalni proizvodni sistem. Projekt bo veljal kot uspešen, če bo izpolnil naslednja pričakovanja: (a) Na kratek rok (3 leta od začetka) bo projekt znatno povečal število skupnih raziskovalnih projektov med podjetji in raziskovalnimi centri. (b) V srednjeročnem obdobju (5 let) bo prišlo do vzpostavitve nove znanstveno-poslovne kulture, ki se bo lahko skupaj soočala tehnološkimi izziv novega tisočletja. Zlasti ukrepi, ki bodo vključevali študente in podjetnike bodo spodbudili povečanje poklicnih karier povezanih s prenosom tehnologij. (c) Na dolgi rok (10 let) bodo udeležena podjetja zabeležila povečanje prometa, ki bo do 10-krat preseglo investicijo Programa Interreg.
