The project promotes cooperation and competitiveness of the biotechnology sector in Galicia-North of Portugal in order to turn the Euroregion into a pole of excellence in biotechnology. A Cross-Border Biotechnology Cluster will be created, and it will operate as an agent to promote competitiveness, providing advanced business development services. It will also seek to contribute to the strengthening of the human capital skills of the Galician-Portuguese biotechnological sector and to promote its international projection and its access to foreign markets.

O objetivo do projeto é promover a cooperação e a competitividade do setor de biotecnologia no espaço Galiza-Norte de Portugal para transformar a Eurorregião em um pólo de excelência territorial em biotecnologia. O objetivo será criar um Cluster de Biotecnologia Transfronteiriça que funcione como um agente para promover a competitividade do setor, fornecendo serviços avançados de desenvolvimento de negócios e integração na cadeia de valor. Também procurará contribuir para o fortalecimento das competências de capital humano do setor de biotecnologia galego-português e promover sua projeção internacional e seu acesso aos mercados estrangeiros.

El proyecto promueve la cooperación y la competitividad del sector biotecnológico en Galicia- Norte de Portugal para convertir a la Eurorregión en un polo de excelencia en biotecnología. Se buscará crear un Cluster Transfronterizo de Biotecnología que opere como un agente de promoción de la competitividad sectorial, prestando servicios avanzados de desarrollo empresarial e integración en la cadena de valor. Se buscará también contribuir al fortalecimiento de las habilidades del capital humano del sector biotecnológico galaicoportugués y fomentar su proyección internacional y su acceso a mercados exteriores.
