Description (EN):

FACEcamp project aims at strengthening a long-term transnational cooperation among companies and R&I entities in the field of advanced façade systems for healthy, comfortable and energy efficient buildings. FACEcamp goal is to support stakeholders to cope effectively with the facade performances. Thus, the specific objectives are: (1) to establish a transnational competence center on advanced façade system, enhancing and sharing knowledge among research organization and enterprises, and (2) to improve existing metrics, modelling and measuring procedures to show the benefits of the advanced façade systems to a wide range of stakeholders. The definition and the establishment of the centre will be performed with a bottom-up approach thanks to the involvement of both IT and AT actors, already representing an excellence within the territory and beyond. Workshops, trainings and conferences will disseminate results at local and international level, exploiting the centre as knowledge platform for private and public actors. Expected results, are (1) the establishment of a cross-border and internationally recognised competence centre (2) the reduction of the knowledge gap among stakeholders, and (3) the increase of the competitiveness of local actors offering excellence in the sector. The local expertise in the field will be strengthened and highlighted, thus creating the basis for an increased attractiveness of the territory in terms of new businesses and related workplaces.

Dieser Antrag zielt auf Stärkung und nachhaltige Stabilisierung transnationaler Kooperationen zwischen Firmen und Forschungseinrichtungen auf dem Gebiet moderner Fassadensysteme mit Fokus auf Energieeffizienz, Komfort und Gesundheit ab. Dabei sollen Stakeholder und Firmen bei der Bewältigung planerischer Anforderungen durch moderne Fassadensysteme unterstützt werden. Kernziele sind (1) der Aufbau eines grenzüberschreitenden Kompetenzzentrums für moderne Fassadensysteme, um der Kompetenz aufzubauen und Know-how zwischen Forschungseinrichtungen und Firmen auszutauschen, (2) sowie die Verbesserung bestehender Simulations-, Mess- und Testmethoden, um den Mehrwert fortschrittlicher Fassadensysteme quantifizieren zu können. Die Einrichtung des Kompetenzzentrums wird dank transnationaler Interessensvertretungen nach der Bottom-Up-Methode erfolgen. Workshops, Schulungen und Konferenzen werden zur überregionalen Verbreitung der Fachkompetenz organisiert. Mit diesem Projekt soll (1) ein grenzüberschreitendes Kompetenzzentrum aufgebaut werden, (2) die Brücke zwischen Praktikern, Planern und Forschern geschlagen werden, und (3) die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Betriebe für qualitativ hochwertige und effiziente Fassadenprodukte gestärkt werden. Die Fachexpertise wird dadurch sowohl regional als auch auf europäischer und internationaler Ebene sichtbar. Das Kompetenznetzwerk bereitet damit einen attraktiven überregionalen Markt für den innovativen Fassadenbau.

FACEcamp vuole rafforzare la cooperazione transfrontaliera tra imprese e centri per la R&I nel settore dei sistemi di facciata avanzati per la realizzazione di edifici confortevoli ed energeticamente efficienti. L’obiettivo di FACEcamp è di supportare gli attori del settore nella valutazione delle prestazioni delle facciate. Gli obiettivi specifici sono: (1) creare un centro di competenza transfrontaliero, per approfondire le conoscenze e condividerle tra centri di ricerca, imprese e professionisti; (2) migliorare le metriche e le procedure di modellazione e misura per mostrare i benefici delle facciate avanzate agli attori della filiera. La definizione e la creazione del centro verranno effettuate in una logica bottom-up, coinvolgendo tutti gli attori (in IT ed in AT), che già sono un eccellenza per il territorio e oltre. Per diffondere i risultati del progetto verranno organizzati workshops, eventi di formazione e conferenze, sfruttando il centro come piattaforma per la diffusione delle competenze per il privato ed il pubblico. I risultati attesi sono (1) la creazione di un centro di competenza transfrontaliero e riconosciuto internazionalmente, (2) la riduzione del divario di competenze tra gli attori del settore e (3) l’aumento della competitività di imprese e professionisti per garantirne l’eccellenza. Le competenze esistenti verranno rafforzate e messe in luce accrescendo la capacità del territorio di attrarre occasioni di business e nuovi posti di lavoro.

Das Projekt FACEcamp zielt auf fortschrittliche Fassadensysteme (Advanced Facades, AF, also den gesamten Bereich von komplexen Verglasungssystemen bis hin zu dynamischen Fassadensystemen) ab, um komfortable, gesunde und energieeffiziente Gebäude zu ermöglichen. Es unterstützt Hersteller und Interessensvertretungen (Firmen, Planer und private sowie öffentliche Auftraggeber) von der AF-Planung bis hin zur praktischen Umsetzung. Neben fachspezifischem Know-how sollen Berechnungsverfahren und Testprozeduren bereitgestellt werden. Kernziel des Projektes ist die Einrichtung eines überregionalen Kompetenzzentrums für AF-Systeme. Damit soll die korrekte Quantifizierung innovativer Fassadensysteme ermöglicht werden.Im AF-Systembereich haben sich in den Regionen Tirol und Südtirol bereits zahlreiche hochqualifizierte Hersteller, Ingenieurbüros und Forschungseinrichtungen etabliert. Sie zeichneten sich im internationalen Wettbewerb durch exzellente Produkte, innovative Projekte und Dienstleistungen aus. Der Aufbau des Kompetenzzentrums bietet durch nachhaltigen Wissensaustausch und Fortbildung die Chance, die Forschungskooperationen zu stärken sowie erfolgreiche Entwicklungen für hocheffiziente Fassadenprodukte anzustoßen. Der Kostendruck durch geringe Herstellungskosten auf dem EU-Markt erfordert die angestrebte verstärkte Zusammenarbeit und gemeinsame Nutzung der Forschungsförderung. Eine nachhaltige überregionale Kooperation ermöglicht es, den interdisziplinären Nutzen der innovativen Systeme herauszustellen. Gerade hier haben sich bislang noch Defizite in folgenden Bereichen gezeigt: - Kenntnis und Verfügbarkeit von Tools und Know-how sowie Testprozeduren zur Quantifizierung der Eigenschaften innovativer Fassaden, spezielle Kenngrößen, die bislang praktisch ausschließlich von den Forschungseinrichtungen genutzt werden, standardisierte Metriken, welche die Vergleichbarkeit der Produkte erlauben und damit die spezifischen Vorzüge für alle Marktteilnehmer sichtbar machen.

Expected Results (IT):

Il progetto FACE camp si concentra sui sistemi di facciata avanzati SFA (dai sistemi vetrati complessi ai sistemi di facciata attivi e dinamici) per edifici confortevoli ed energeticamente efficienti, dando supporto agli attori del settore (produttori, progettisti, clienti pubblici e privati) dalla progettazione alla realizzazione, attraverso la promozione di conoscenze, strumenti di calcolo e misura per la corretta caratterizzazione dei SFA. Il progetto mira ad instaurare un Centro di Competenza CoCe transfrontaliero sui SFA ed a migliorare metriche, procedure e strumenti esistenti per il calcolo e la misura delle prestazioni dei SFA. In questo settore, in Tirolo ed Alto Adige sono giá presenti numerose realtá altamente qualificate tra produttori, uffici tecnici ed enti di R&I, che generano eccellenti progetti, prodotti e servizi, come emerge per esempio dai progetti industriali riportati nel par. 3.1.4. Il migliorare la diffusione delle conoscenze ed l’aggiornarle costantemente, grazie alla presenza del CoCe e delle sue attivitá, rappresenta l’opportunitá per rafforzare la cooperazione e per strutturare fruttuose sinergie verso il successo di prodotti robusti ed efficienti. La minaccia principale a lungo termine risiede nell’accessibilitá delle imprese a risorse da investire nella R&I e dall’elevata pressione sui prezzi del prodotti finali a causa dell’influenza dei paesi con bassi costi di produzione. Inoltre, è necessaria piú collaborazione per rafforzare nel lungo termine i rapporti tra imprese ed enti di R&I, per sorpassare le difficoltá nel dimostrare i vantaggi interdisciplinari dei SFA. Queste difficoltá sono dovute alla mancanza di: consapevolezza della presenza di un know-how locale (strumenti e conoscenze) per il calcolo e la misura delle prestazioni dei SFA; figure professionali, presenti principalmente nei centri di R&I; standardizzazione di metriche, di procedure di calcolo e di test per dimostrare i vantaggi delle facciate avanzate.
