Entrepreneurial skills are essential competences nowadays to lead a successful life, yet they are often staying neglected or unexploited. The Hungarian - Slovakian border region is not an exception in that case: the region’s entrepreneurial potential is far from being exploited at the moment. In addition, the education of the entrepreneurial skills and competences is a hard and an often argued issue for the vocational mid-level schools on both sides of the border. On the other hand, every year thousands of vocational school students are leaving the educational system with a knowledge that could guarantee the basis to a new company, or to a potential start-up business. Meanwhile, the lack of the positive examples, incentives and entrepreneu rial competences are preventing them from using their professional skills to launch a new venture or to give the old family business a new direction. Therefore, we strongly believe that helping youngsters to achieve entrepreneurial skills can be es sential to reduce youth unemployment, but can also be essential to help the regional economy thrive. Our project intends to create a new, cross-border capacity of educational tools and supporting networks for students in VET, while promoting the idea of entrepreneurship and encouraging young people to plan a carrier as entrepreneurs. We are also aiming to empower the economic potential of the border region, and to show that potential cross-border cooperation can offer new opportunities to the fr esh entrepreneurs. Also, in a bigger context we are aiming to fight youth unemployment and early school leaving. Therefore, we are targeting the following groups in our project: young people attending to their 3rd year (out of 4) in VET in the borde r region; young people with professional skills; vocational schools and educational institutions. We hope that our outputs (studies, e-learning courses and methodologies) will be named as cross-border good practices in the topic.

V súčasnosti predpokladom úspešnej životosprávy sú podnikateľské schopnosti, no napriek tomu sa im nevenuje dostatočná pozornosť, sú zanedbávané. Nie sú výnimkou ani regióny pri slovensko-maďarských hraniciach, keďže ďaleko zaostávajú za očakávanou a možnou úrovňou. Vo všeobecnosti sa dá konštatovať, že osveta v oblasti podnikateľských schopností, zručností a kompetencií je častou témou v oboch spomínaných susedných štátoch. Napriek problémam a ťažkostiam je evidentná zmena v tom smere, že každoročne rastie počet študentov a absolventov odborných škôl, ktorí si osvojili schopnosť podnikať alebo zahájiť start-up programy tým, že získali odborné znalosti a majú silné základy k tomu, aby sa ako odborníci vedeli uplatniť na trhu práce. Žiaľ tým, že v ich prostredí je málo pozitívnych príkladov, chýba u nich pocit istoty, možnej úspešnosti, ako aj iniciatíva, čo ich odrádza od zahájenia podnikania, ktoré bez nových, konštruktívnych námetov už nemá šancu pre ďalšie úspešné napredovanie. Pevne veríme, že vhodná príprava mladej generácie na podnikanie je kľúčovým momentom, ktorý sa bude prejavovať v znížení nezamestnanosti a rozvoja ekonomiky v predmetných regiónoch. Naším cieľom je vytvoriť podpornú sieť pre študentov odborných škôl, ktoré usmerňujú záujem týchto budúcich odborníkov k podnikaniu, pomáhajú pri osvojení schopnosti podnikať, t.j pri osvojení základov budúcej kariéry. Touto činnosťou zároveň podporujeme aj hospodársky rozvoj prihraničných regiónov, čo je teda aj naším hlavným cieľom. Vytýčené ciele by sme chceli realizovať v nasledovných skupinách: mladí študenti, ktorí v blízkej budúcnosti ukončia štúdium, mladí odborníci, odborné školy a inštitúcie. Cieľovou skupinou projektu teda budú študenti tretieho ročníka, teda nie absolventi jednotlivých škôl či inštitúcií. Pevne veríme, že výsledky a produkty / štúdiá, e-learning materiály, iniciatívne spôsoby osvety / sa osvedčia a budú mať kladný vplyv na hospodársky rozvoj.

A vállalkozói készségek manapság elengedhetetlenek a sikeres életvezetéshez, mégis gyakran kiaknázatlanok, vagy épp elhanyagoltak maradnak. A magyar-szlovák határterületi régió sem kivétel ez alól: a vállalkozási készségek kiaknázottsága messze áll a száz százaléktól ezen a területen is. Továbbhaladva, a témáról általánosságban elmondható, hogy a vállalkozói készségek és kompetenciák oktatása egy gyakran vitatott és nehéz téma a szakmabeliek között a határ mindkét oldalán. A nehézségek ellenére azonban megfigyelhető, hogy minden évben több ezer olyan diák végez a szakiskolákban, akiknek meg van a szakmai tudásuk arra, hogy új vállalkozásokat, vagy éppen új start-upokat indítsanak el és sikeres szakemberként dolgozzanak bennük. Azonban a jó példák, az ösztönző erők és a vállalkozási készségek hiányában, megriadnak attól, hogy szakmai képességeiket új vállalkozásokban, vagy épp régi, de átalakításra váró családi cégekben kamatoztassák. Többek között ezekért hiszünk mi abban, hogy a fiatalok vállalkozói készségekkel való felruházása kulcsszerepet játszhat a fiatalok munkanélküliségének visszaszorításában és a helyi gazdaság fejlesztésében is. A projektünk olyan oktatási eszközöket és támogató hálót kíván létrehozni a szakiskolai tanulók számára, mely a vállalkozások irányába tereli érdeklődésüket, és segít számukra a megfelelő készségek elsajátításában ahhoz, hogy vállalkozói karrierre lépjenek. Emellett, támogatni kívánjuk a határ menti régió gazdasági fejlődését, bebizonyítva azt, hogy egy ország közi együttműködés milyen sokszínű és új lehetőségeket tartogat a kezdő vállalkozók számára. Ebből kifolyólag a célcsoportunk a következő alcsoportokból áll: fiatalok, akik utolsó előtti szakiskolás évükben járnak; fiatal szakemberek; szakiskolák és oktatási intézmények. Reményeink szerint eredményeink és produktumaink (tanulmányok, e-learning tananyagok, oktatási módszerek) jó gyakorlatként járnak majd elől az ország közi gazdasági fejlesztések témájában.

Achievements (EN):

Promoting entrepreneurship using interactive and innovative methods. During the implementation of the project Provocent we created an e-learning curriculum for the involved students, based on an innovative blended learning methodology, which was suitable not only to provide the basic knowledge needed for entrepreneurs, but also to promote entrepreneurial skills. In this way, the students got to know what it is like to work as an entrepreneur and how to think as a successful entrepreneur. During working on the project documentation and creating the curriculum and methodology, the experts and institutions always worked jointly and together, creating a curriculum and methodology that combines best practices from Slovakia and Hungary. The Provocent application is completely different from the others. It’s not just an app that displays contents, but by using the market place, students were allowed to interact with each other by investing the project money (Pcoin), in each other’s businesses. This opportunity has made the learning process much more human and lifelike. Another positive benefit of the project was that participants were able to get to know each other, learn about each other’s schools, build relationships and gain experience. The project pointed out that the two countries can learn a lot from each other because, although the problems are similar in both countries, the solutions tailored to each situation are in many cases different. The adoption of good practices will certainly have a positive effect on the educational processes in the institutions and on the situation of vocational training in a broader sense in both Slovakia and Hungary. 3, Tangible outcomes: 1 Partnership Protocol, including an Implementation Plan, in local languages (HU-SK), 10 pages. 6 mentors selected, preferably teachers of vocational institutions; 6 contract, 1 per each mentor (contracted by the TCB, the mentors' work is implemented and financed under Act11), in local language. 1, null. 2, null. 4, Tangible outcomes: 6 target groups with 8-12 youth members, the indicator is to reach 60 students at least, 6-8 cooperation agreements with vocational schools, signed, in local language. 5, Tangible outcomes: 1 study analyzing the current situation, 50 pages, HU-SK, format: .pdf, in the website 1 study defining competence gaps, 50 pages, HU-SK, format: .pdf, in the website 1 study identifying the best practices in education and practice 50 pages,ENG-SK, executive summary: HU-SK,format: .pdf, in the website. 6, Tangible outcomes: 1 Methodological Guideline for the blended learning programme, including the user's guide and the actual methodological recommendations, 30 pages, in HU and in SK too, format: .pdf, reachable in the website. 7, Tangible outcomes: 1 mobile learning system optimized to the needs of the project, using 7 inch tablets as main educational tools, 1 working application and its systems, - the registration platform should be reachable throughout the webpage, the final application will be in local languages (as it is showed below). 13, Tangible outcomes: 1 summary of the evaluation sheets' and the data, in EN, in .pdf format, 1 e-learning system datasheet, .pdf, online 6 written reports filed by mentors in HU-SK, 1 finalized Methodological Guidelines (HU-SK, .pdf) 1 closing conference 2 electronic newsletters 1 package of photo documentation. 14, Tangible outcomes: 1 homepage, providing an on-line resource centre, where all the .pdf documents what have been created are accessible 1 on-line networking tool (chat-tool) on user's page (registration needed) 1 Assessment Report on the results and on the perspectives of future cooperations, interim, 5 pgs, EN, pdf. 8, Tangible outcomes: 1 bi-lingual learning curricula developed, in HU and SK, the learning curricula includes the following: -learning curricula developed for 30 hrs e-learning and 20 hrs workshopping, in HU, -learning curricula translated to SK; will be used internal (doc), but the final version will be shared in ACT. 9. 9, Tangible outcomes: 1 bi-lingual digital learning material (SK-HU, with 30 hours-long learning time), reachable in the webpage after registration done by the admins, in HU and SK. 12, Tangible outcomes: 4 attendance sheets from the 4 cross-border networking events for the direct target group, in local languages (SK - HU), 1 package of photo documentation. 10, Tangible outcomes: 3 training for the 6 mentors (3x2 days), in different times during the project, 6 final exam tests by the mentors in local languages, 1 package of photo documentation, 6 attendance sheets in EN 11, Tangible outcomes: Attendance sheets from 5 workshops x 6 groups (8-12 members), EN.
