4helix+ pjt vise à stimuler, accompagner et financer L'INNOVATION TRANSECTORIELLE ET TRANSNATIONAL dans le DOMAINE CLÉ MED de LA "CROISSANCE BLEUE. Le principal changement recherché par le projet est d'améliorer les conditions de base pour combler l'écart entre les pôles de croissance bleue MED et ceci dans leurs 4 helices, grâce à la collaboration avec les NOUVEAUX AGENTS non institutionnels de l' INNOVATION:les fablabs, les espaces de co-travail, les hubs créatifs, etc.Pour soutenir l'innovation dans la croissance bleue, à côté des institutions de recherche, il est impératif de favoriser le partenariat avec et dans les espaces ouverts d'interaction exploratoire et de créativité, qui doivent trouver place dans ce nouveau type d'écosystèmes d'innovation. Ce partenariat sera également renforcé par la combinaison innovante avec les connaissances et l'expertise des Industries CULTURELLES et CRÉATIVES. Les 8 écosystèmes régionaux de MED (REGION DE LISBOA, ANDALOUSIE, CATALUNA, MARSEILLE PROVENCE, MARCHE, COMTE DE ZADAR, MACEDOINE CENTRALE, DURRES, VLORA, SARANDA & SHENGJIN zones côtières en ALBANIE) pourront ainsi être fructueusement impliqués dans le transfert et l'expérimentation regionale d'un processus d'innovation transnational, via un partage des connaissances et une approche communautaire. Le montant global du projet est de 2.193.983,75 € (dont plus de 500.000,00 € dédiés à l'attribution de VOUCHERS D'INNOVATION aux PME / STARTUP de ces écosystèmes).

Description (EN):

4helix+ pjt aims at stimulating, coaching and funding CROSS-SECTORAL & TRANS-BOUNDARY INNOVATION OF THE MED KEY SECTOR “BLUE GROWTH ” which deserves to be better supported being an economic driver and a potential generator of development & jobs. Main change sought is to improve basic conditions for bridging the gap among the MED maritime clusters and within their 4helixes thanks to the collaboration with the NOT INSTITUTIONAL NEW INNOVATION AGENTS such as like fablabs, co-working spaces, makerspaces, creative hubs, etc. For sustaining innovation in Blue Growth, beside typical research facilities, it is imperative to favor its partnership with and within open spaces for exploratory interaction and creativity that may find room in this new kind of innovation agents. This innovative partnership is also empowered by the ground-breaking combination with CULTURAL&CREATIVE INDUSTRIES knowledge and expertise. The enhanced 8 MED maritime regional clusters (LISBON REGION, ANDALUSIA, CATALUNA, PACA, MARCHE, ZADAR COUNTY, CENTRAL MACEDONIA and DURRES,VLORA,SARANDA&SHENGJIN coastal areas in ALBANIA) can, thus, be fruitfully involved in the testing, evaluation and regional/national transferring of a transnational INNOVATION PROCESS according to an open source, knowledge sharing and community-based approach. The project overall amount is 2.193.983,75 € (whose over 500.000,00 € dedicated to allocation of INNOVATION VOUCHERS to MED BLUE SMEs/STARTUPs).

Achievements (EN):

Project consortium continued on demonstrating its involvement in project implementation. Project activities about this reporting period were successfully realized and deliverables were completed according to the pit workplan that has been regularly updated. Taking into consideration the current worldwide situation concerning the COVID-19 – Corona Virus, the Consortium decided to require some modifications to guarantee the successful implementation of the project. On 30th April 2020, a request was sent to the JS to require: - an extension of prj. duration and a partial modification of the Work plan, activities, deliverables, and project outputs. The three months’ prolongation for 4helix+ project (up to 31/10/2020) has been agreed by the Consortium during last Steering Committee in Thessaloniki held from 30th to 31st of January 2020. All PPs would like to stress the need to have more time for the following reasons, that have been more excentuated after the situation incurred all over the countries. The modification was also addressed to the budget because the unspent budget for travelling and events could be shifted to budget line staff, more affected by this situation and much more engaged in the organisation of on-line actions, digital road-shows, communications actions on social instruments and so on for the last three more months of 4helix+ implementation. For what concerns WP1 LP, with the support of the partnership, duly submitted the 4th PR based on PPs’ reports and sent the JS all clarification requested. 2 online SC were held: the 6th (30/04/2020) and the 7th (23/10/2020). The Final Event occurred on 20th October 2020. About WP2 all PPs participated actively in implementation of dissemination activities and with the coordinator of this WP last deliverables foreseen have been closed for this reporting period. The website has been always updated such as 4helix+ social networks according to project implementation activities. All PPs supported WP3 leader in closing the “Pilot Action Report” presented during the last 6th SC. Skype meetings were held to close Deliverables 3. 3. 1., 3. 3. 2., 3. 3. 3. The External evaluation report of the Pilot Action was also closed and discussed during the last SC. As far as WP4, some PPs have organized some the remaining National/Local Roadshows.
