Dans l’espace MED, les PME doivent jouer un rôle essentiel dans l'innovation pour faire face à de nombreux défis, en adoptant une approche purement «entrepreneuriat créatif». La créativité, stimulée et développée à travers des méthodes et processus spécifiques, ainsi que la gestion de l'innovation, sont les facteurs porteurs pour les processus de développement, la croissance équilibrée et le renforcement du profil d'une entreprise. Les PME méditerranéennes, souvent dépourvues de capacités d'innovation, doivent aujourd’hui forcément disposer des outils et des pratiques de créativité nécessaires. Etant le soutien systémique à la créativité donc une condition préalable au développement de l'innovation, le projet conçoit, lance et teste des e-Labs pour l'innovation créative, en impliquant des entités publiques régionales et transnationales, des étudiants, des chercheurs et des dirigeants. A travers les e-Labs (CIeL), les PME et les organismes publics génèrent coinjointement des idées d'innovation durable avec des outils souples favorisant leur créativité. Gérer la créativité avec succès aidera les organisations à mettre en valeur leur capacité de croissance et d'amélioration de la compétitivité. Sachant en effet que les PME n’ont pas beaucoup d'opportunités de participer à la formation, le projet vise à surmonter ces obstacles, par le biais des e-Labs, pour que les PME puissent expérimenter une nouvelle façon de conduire leurs processus d'innovation au sein des réseaux MED.

Description (EN):

In the EC MED strategic framework SMEs play a critical role in innovation and sustainable development in the Green sector. By adopting a ‘creative entrepreneurship’ approach to sustainable innovation, SMEs can tackle, cost effectively, many of the challenges faced in growing their business. Creativity, stimulated and developed through specific methods and processes, and the management of innovation are considered important factors for development processes, balanced growth and strengthening of a company’s profile. Mediterranean SMEs, often lacking in innovation capabilities, must be provided with the necessary creativity tools and practices. As systemic creativity support is a prerequisite for innovation development, the project will design, launch and test e-Labs for Creative Innovation engaging regional and transnational public entities, students, researchers and managers, designing and testing structured processes for new innovation supporting politics. In the e-Labs (CIeL) SMEs and public organizations will generate sustainable innovation ideas with flexible and innovative tools fostering their creativity and innovation. Managing creativity successfully will help organizations to tap into hidden capacity for growth and improved competitiveness. Since SMEs participate less in formal training and education, through CIeL, the project aims at overcoming these barriers so for these SME to experience a new way that drives their innovation processes on MED networking as well.

Achievements (EN):

During this reporting period, the PPs have jointly implemented all the planned activities and produced the related deliverables following the new time plan set by the approved project amendment.Summarizing the main achieved project results are:- 57 testing activities have been carried on using spaces equipped in a completely different way, demonstrating the possibility to adapt the use of the Creative Techniques and Methodologies in a flexible way avoiding the necessity to realize important investments to create the proper spaces. This is a results that reduce the costs necessary to organize the creative laboratories and facilitate their use by the SMEs;- great interest, shown by stakeholders involved in, on the potential of the Sustainability Assessment Model developed by the project (D 3. 2.1) that assure a high potential of application and replicability;- great success obtained during the CreaInnovation LABs organized. All the tests done have irrefutably proved that the Creative Techniques and Methodologies can be used within SMEs and the success rate it’s incredible high;Moreover, all foreseen communication activities have been duly continued and a high project visibility has been guaranteed.4 PPs have already organized the first national workshop planned in the activity 4. 2.The workshop planned under the activity 4. 2.1 has been performed during the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussel on 8th of October, 2019.Management activities have been implemented and namely the following deliverables have been produced: 1. 2.2 related to the 4th period; 1. 1.2 produced for the 4th meeting in Auch. We have also finalized the 3rd payment claim and PR and related clarifications.
