Le projet valorisera principalement les résultats du projet LIFE+"Adapt2change" par la promotion, la diffusion d'information et la mise en œuvre de serres innovantes dans la zone MED pour minimiser la demande en eau & en énergie. Le projet renforcera la sensibilisation environnementale liée à l'efficience énergétique et hydrique et à la production durable, contribuant à la croissance verte et au développement durable. Les résultats attendus: - Créer un cluster / réseau agricole transnational innovant par un protocole d'accord. - Élaborer des recommandations politiques favorisant la collaboration entre les acteurs de la quadruple hélice et améliorer le cadre existant des investissements éco-innovants. -Transférer les connaissances acquises par un plan d'action MED conjoint et une plate-forme e-learning, supports de formation, ateliers et webinaires. - Identifier des possibilités financières pour répondre aux besoins de chaque région. L'objectif global: améliorer les capacités d'éco-innovation des acteurs publics et privés dans le secteur de la production agricole sous serres par le renforcement de la coopération transnationale, le transfert des connaissances et le développement de réseaux de collaboration. Les bénéficiaires seront: Producteurs de cultures sous serres, industrie agroalimentaire, décideurs, syndicats des coopératives agricoles et instituts de recherche et technologie. Ils seront invités aux évènements du projet et contribueront à la réalisation de ses objectifs.

Description (EN):

The project will mainly capitalize results of LIFE+ "Adapt2change" project by promoting, disseminating & transferring innovative Greenhouses in the MED area, minimizing water & energy demand. The project will stimulate environmental awareness on issues related to energy & water efficiency & sustainable production, contributing to Green Growth & promoting sustainable development. Particularly, the partners will (main outputs): - Create a transnational innovative cluster / agricultural network through a memorandum of agreement. - Develop tailored policy recommendations favoring collaboration between the actors of quadruple helix, enhancing existing framework for eco-innovation investments. - Transfer existing knowledge gained through the elaboration of a joint MED Action Plan & e-learning platform/training course material/workshops/webinars. - Identify possible financial opportunities formulated to the needs of each region. The overall objective is to Improve eco-innovation capacities of public & private actors in the greenhouse/agriculture sector through stronger transnational cooperation, knowledge transfer & better collaborative networks. Main beneficiaries will be Greenhouse Farmers, Businesses specialized in Agro-food & Greenhouse industry, Policy Makers - Unions of Agricultural Cooperatives, Research Technology Institutes who will be invited to participate in seminars, workshops, consultations & the Final Conference, contributing to the achievement of project objectives.

Achievements (EN):

Regarding the WP1, during the 3rd Semester, the Partner, besides the activities undertaken for the management and the financial management of the project, they had elaborated and submitted in time the 2nd Project Progress Report and the 2nd payment claim. On May 2019, the PP4 organised the 3rd SCM in Nice, with the participation of all the partners. During the 2 days meeting, the LP presented the progress of the project activities, discussed with the partners issues and planned the next steps. Furthermore, the partners, with the guidance of the LP and the Project Officer, they had completed successfully all the procedures and the paperwork required for the project modification (change of the LP, extension of project duration and budget modification). Due to the merge of the PP1 with the LP, the University of Thessaly was approved by the Programme's SC and the partnership as the new Lead Partner of the Project. Lastly, the new end date of the project was set for 31/12/ 2019. Concerning the WP2, for dissemination purposes, the Partners had participated in several EU events for Circular Economy and Green Growth such as: ‘’CIRCLE 2019’’ in Nicosia (29/03/19), where the Project Coordinator was invivted as a Speaker to discuss about the project’s activities and objectives, “2nd Thematic Working Group” of the Green Growth Community and MED Capitalisation Event 6-8/03/19 in Thessaloniki. The LP continues feeding the Web platform and the Social Media pages, posting relevant articles and project’s news (including project’s events) and uploading the final versions of project’s deliverables. The feeding was implemented with the contribution of all the partners. Regarding the WP3, the partners had organised several back to back events ''Consultation & Workshops'' (del. 3. 2.3) identifying the needs, the gaps and the obstacels of the agro-food sector. The final versions of the joint reports (del. 3. 1.1 – 3. 1.5) of the Activity 3.1 – State of Play in Policies, Financing, Technologies & Stakeholders had been finalised and uploaded on projet's webplatform. The LP had also completed and with the contribution of the partners the operation model of the ATI-Cluster (output 3.2) with was introduced to the partners in the online meetings that took place. Lastly, the del. 3. 2.6 – Recommendations for the establishment of mechanisms favouring cooperation between actors of the 4-helix had been drafted. The final version is expected to be ready in September 2019.
